To ensure that there are no misunderstandings CAYSL will have a ZERO tolerance policy for any team forfeiting any game.  As discussed and voted on in the 2/13/2008 board meeting the following penalties will apply if a team forfeits a game:

1: A $500 dollar fine

2: Loss of ability to play in the City Cup

3: A team can request a hearing and appeal the fine and decision to the CAYSL Board.

4: NCYSA Forfeit rules may apply as CAYSL is a NCYSA member and inherits from the state as the league it's policies as it does its other major policies such as D & A.

If a situation arises, it is important that a team works with the club rep and the other coach to move the game to a date where the game can be played and submit a game change form.
